Chris was a close friend of mine throughout the Armonk and Pleasantville school years, but beyond that, we went to College 90 miles apart (he was at SUNY- Potsdam, I was at SUNY- Plattsburgh), and we'd either hitch-hike or find a way to meet up for concerts and just hang out and party together on weekends.  (we saw Zeppelin 2X during those years).  Although he lived in Boise, ID and I stayed on the East Coast, he made the effort to travel to GA and FL to meet up to celebrate our 50th and 70th birthdays, but we always stayed in contact over the years via phone calls and Christmas/Birthday cards.  About a year ago, he mentioned he had a blood condition but always downplayed it, saying his Docs had it "under control".  When I received a PM from his Sister last April that he'd passed away, it came as a complete shock to say the least.  I admired Chris for staying true to his College Major, as he was an Art Critic, an Author, and even did a periodic critique/column in a local Boise Newspaper. He was a good family man, and my condolences go out to his wife, Nora and Son, Harry.  R.I.P. my friend.
